The Baltic LNG refueling project kicks off

       According to INEA, the "blue Baltic" project kicked off on March 14, with the aim of developing and building a network of LNG to connect the Baltic sea and the corresponding European region.

       The main target of this project is to develop a "maritime mobile multi-function LNG stations (MMRS)", connect with independent floating liquefied storage device, and Lithuania's first liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal services, in the clay of LNG station for LNG filling services.

       The project is coordinated by Lithuania, which includes Lithuania, Sweden, Estonia and Germany.

       To serve Estonian customers, the project will purchase and deploy 14 liquefied natural gas storage containers, a mobile LNG refueling station and a liquefied natural gas transmission station.

       This will allow LNG carriers and ferries to make extra bets in tallinn, PaRNU and other satellite ports, and to provide compressed natural gas for urban transportation.

       At nynashamn's LNG terminal, the investment will be used to establish LNG transfer facilities and refueling facilities in the Swedish coast and adjacent areas.

       The cost estimate for the project is estimated at 47.6 million euros, with the eu contributing 15 million euros.

       The project began in March 2016 and is scheduled to end in June 2019.
