Huge gas reserves are found in the Indian desert

       On October 20, according to the gulf news reported in jaipur, state-owned Indian Oil exploration company (Oil India) in a few days ago home Thar desert in rajasthan region delhi-jaisalmer and Baghewala discovered huge reservoirs. The search for oil and gas in the Thar desert over the past few years has yielded fruitful results. Cairn energy, which found oil and gas in Barmer, has begun commercial production at Mangla.

       In 1988, cairn energy was first discovered in the Tanot area, followed by the discovery of more than two gas fields in Dandewala and Bagittiba.

       According to Ram Lai Jat, the oil minister of rajasthan, India's oil exploration companies have found natural gas in Ramgarh, Jalawala, Gamnewala and Gulabwala in the desert region of rajasthan. Indian oil exploration companies are now trying to estimate the commercial value of the gas fields.

       Jat said that in the tanot-dandewala and Bagittibba areas of Jaisalmer basin, gas reserves were estimated at 9.2 billion cubic meters, of which 6.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas was recoverable reserves.
