       Great United Petroleum Holding Co., LTD. (GUPC) was founded by members of China Chamber of Commerce for Petroleum Industry (CCCPI). Established in June 2005 at the Great Hall of People’s Congress in Beijing, GUPC’s main business covers of oil and gas investment, management, exploration, exploitation and sales. GUPC is currently the most influential private oil and gas enterprise in China and aspire to be world-known brand name.

       Marking a breakthrough in China’s long monopolized oil industry, GUPC acquired 2 Toronto public listed oil and gas companies in Canada in year 2009 and 2010. The company is looking for acquire gas asset in Canada and will own up to 80 TCF reserves of natural gas (approx. 2.2 trillion cubic meters). In 2013, GUPC, together with China major oil and gas companies and professional funds companies jointly carried out a large LNG construction project in Stewart, British Columbia, Canada.
