Crude Oil Bonded Warehouse - Jiangsu Lianyungang Port, Zhejiang Zhoushan Port

       Lianyungang is the eastern end of the Longhai Railway (formerly the Lunghai Railway), connecting it with Lanzhou in central China. It is now the eastern terminus of the New Eurasian Land Bridge and the proposed Northern East West Freight Corridor. The government counts it among the first 14 Chinese coastal cities opening to the outside world and a rising center of industry, foreign trade, and tourism in east China.This port is in the center of the coast, linking eastern sea routes with western land routes. Japan and the Republic of Korea in the east can be reached economically and conveniently from Liangyungang, which is also part of the worldwide network of sea transport. As well as this, the New Eurasia Continental Land bridge and the railway networks in Western Europe continue by land, connecting Lianyungang with over 40 countries and regions in Europe, South Asia and the Middle East.The Chinese government has clearly stated its intention to build an economic belt along the New Eurasia Continental Land bridge in "the Ninth Five-Year Plan of the National Economy and Social Development and the Long-range Goal for the Year 2010." On "China's 21st Century Agenda", Lianyungang is to be developed into an international seaport linking countries on the Pacific rim with those in Central Asia. In the "National Ocean Development Plan" it is listed as one of three special development zones.

       Lianyungang petrochemical industry base has been built, and Sinopec is bulding refinery projects with total refining capacity of 50 million tons/year in two phases. First phase of the project includes 16 million tons/year refining capacity, and second phase is 34 million tons/year refining capacity.

Zhoushan Port, Zhejiang

       Zhejiang Zhoushan green petrochemical industry base is one of the seven largest petrochemical industry bases with a land of 40 square kilometers and the approved investment of 500 billion yuan RMB, it is expected to have output worth over one trillion yuan RMB. The planned area of petrochemical equipment park is 2.5 square kilometers. The park will built a very solid foundation for petrochemical industry.

       The total planned area of the comprehensive bonded area at Zhoushan port is 5.85 square kilometers, it is divided by island partition and Qu Shan Mountain District. Partition of Qu Shan Mountain District mainly focuses on developing storage for coal, ore, oil and other commodity, distribution business, it will become China's important commodity warehousing, transshipment base, and the terminal can undertake 30-40 tons of huge oil tanker.

       The port is at the crossroads of the north-south inland and coastal shipping route, including canals to the important inland waterway to interior China, the Yangtze River, to the north. The port comprises several ports which are Beilun (seaport), Zhenhai (estuary port), and old Ningbo harbor (inland river port).

       The Port of Zhoushan is a Chinese port that is the busiest in the world in terms of cargo tonnage, it can handle 1 billion tons cargoes, keep ranking first of the all cargo ports around the world. The port is located in Zhoushan, on the coast of the East China Sea, in Zhejiang province south of Hangzhou Bay, across which it faces Jiaxing and Shanghai.
