Project introduction
Stewart LNG project majority owned by GUPC is Canada's largest natural gas development project at present;
The project includes seven industrial chains, covering the upstream, middle stream and downstream, and the company will build the largest LNG production and import system in China. Through the development of upstream gas fields, large natural gas pipeline, large liquefied plant facilities, floating LNG plant, onshore LNG plant and LNG export terminal and large LNG carriers, the company will bring fine and cost effective natural gas to China and other Asian countries from Canada.
The company will complete the project in 4 – 6 year with annual production of 35 million tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and start to provide fine quality of liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the markets in both China and other Asian countries. The company will acquire 80 TCF reserves of natural gas resources to ensure supply for 50 years.
Project plan
Gas project will be in the form of joint venture or consortium partnership to jointly invest in the construction and management covering upstream, middle stream and downstream such as: 1. The upstream large gas resources company; 2. A gas pipeline company using pipe with 48 inches in diameter. 3. A large LNG factory with annual output of 35 million tons of liquefied natural gas; 4. Terminal with water depth of 35 meters, which can dock the largest LNG carriers, and other large enterprises.
