Canada is the world's third-largest producer of natural gas and the second-largest exporter of natural gas. According to the association of Canada's natural gas reserves estimates, at present, the Canada has recoverable conventional and unconventional natural gas reserves of up to 1.35 quadrillion cubic feet, it provides a strong resources guarantee for gas exports.

On May 20, 2016, Canada Stewart Energy Group received 25 years of LNG export license issued by the National Energy Board of Canada (NEB), with annual LNG exports of 35 million tons. The contents of the permit includes the upstream gas field development and production, natural gas pipeline, floating LNG plant (FLNG), land LNG plant and LNG export terminal and large LNG carriers, the main export destination is for Chinese market and other Asian markets.

The project site is located at Stewart port on the northwest coast of British Columbia, Canada where there is abundant gas resources. The company has or will have estimated natural gas reserve of 80tcf, which will ensure the supply of natural gas for more than 50 years for the project.

The project’s annual output of 35 million tons of LNG, its calorific value is equal to about 45.5 million tons of crude oil, equivalent to a year of Daqing oil field production capacity in China.

The project has excellent port conditions with the channel about 200 km away from Pacific ocean and water depth of 91 meters, the deepest depth is 300 meters. It is the deep water port with ice free all year around. The project can save 200 kilometers of natural gas pipeline construction cost and time. The project also incudes 660 km pipeline construction with 48-inch in diameter pipes.

Company owns 880 acres (5280 acres) of land for LNG factory and storage facilities, and LNG export terminal.

Project will build LNG receiving terminals at Yingkou port, Binzhou port, Lianyungang port, Zhoushan port to receive LNG from Canada. Yingkou LNG receiving terminal project have been approved and listed under "13th Five Year Plan" by Chinese central government.

One of the successful measurements to clear "London haze" and "American haze " in the past was to shut down coal-fired power plants, encourage the use of new clean energy and improve the efficiency of electricity use. Because of the problem of haze, the environment is under great pressure, and supply of electricity has reached its bottleneck in order to meet the need of industries and power plants in China, especially along the coast.

Project has received full support from the governments at all levels in Canada including federal government of Canada, provincial government, and municipal government. The distance from our project site in Stewart, BC, Canada to Asia is 4700 miles, which will help to reduce the transportation cost and build Pacific energy corridor connecting Canada and Asia. This will lead to create huge business opportunities in Asia and Canada.
